The Hawaiian Palm needs sufficient yet indirect light. Be sure the plant is put in a reasonably sheltered position. Avoid over-watering. A regular, but measured dose (with plant food every now and then) is preferable. Important. The Hawaiian Palm is very robust but requires certain care. the bottom leaves may turn yellow when they grow older and must be removed. A milky juice sometimes appears from the trunk but this is nothing to worry about. By following this advice you can enjoy your Hawaiian Palm for a long time and may even see it bloom in winter. |
