The grape also known as the Vitis, loves the sun, it will blossom if placed against the south wall of your garden. In December and January the grape needs to be trimmed. This can be done by looking for new main stems every 1 to 2 years which need to grow. Clip the rest of the stems about one shank above the mainstem, Let the main stem grow to the desired height. For each offshoot that brings forth new fruit, let the first cluster ripen and then snip the stems of all but the last two leaves, do this for the entire summer. The plant blooms in may and from august to October you can pick your own grapes. We deliver both white and blue grapes. |
