These Paphiopedilum Maudiae is a light green orchid and has beautiful coloured grains. The Paphiopedilum is also known as the Venus Slipper. It orginates from tropical Asia and Central America. In order to protect itself from the sun the Paphiopedilum grows, in shady areas, for example between rock and at the foot of plants and trees. the Paphiopedilum species are hybrids which are cultivates primarily for their durability and are further selected based on form and colour. The Paphiopedilum usually has a single flower per stalk.
